Robert McKean

Robert McKean has published online and print publications throughout the Bay Area and the Boston Area for over 25 years. These publications include Oakland Magazine, Alameda Magazine, Boston Parents Paper, Parents Press and East Bay Monthly. Through these publications, Robert and his team have perfected the process of running effective Best of City contests for over a decade.

Robert brings a wealth of skills to the Best of City team, including project management, advertising expertise, public relations, and magazine design. As a previous chamber board member, Robert focused on increasing Chamber profitability and ran several events and promotions that drastically increased chamber revenue.

Scott Harris

Scott Harris has been involved in digital marketing for over 15 years first as an in-house marketing manager and later as the head of a  digital marketing agency. He and his team use strategies to help small and medium-sized businesses increase exposure through website design, social media marketing, search engine optimization, paid advertising, and public relations.

Scott has also been a long-time board member with several business associations and chambers of commerce. As a board member, he discovered that Best of City contests are a perfect fit for chambers of commerce. The first contest he ran resulted in over 20,000 votes,  a highly successful sponsorship outreach and increased membership and revenue for the chamber.
